Job summary

Arnold Magnetic Technologies seeks a Die Cast Operator to create, adapt, and adjust molds used in die casting and related molding operations. You will inspect parts with precision gauging tools, set up equipment according to mold specifications, and perform production runs with quality checks before production begins.

The role requires training on the 1st shift for 4-6 weeks and adherence to safety standards. This is a hands-on manufacturing position with focus on tooling and process reliability.

Position Summary

Duties/Responsibilities

• Constructs, adapts, and modifies molds for die cast tooling, metal stamping, and other molding operations.
• Uses various measuring and gauging tools to perform necessary inspections before, during, and after molding operations.
• Sets up equipment based on mold requirements, materials, and tolerances.
• Executes production runs; conducts quality control testing before mold enters production cycle.
• Maintains knowledge of materials and products.
• Assists machinists and millwrights with injection molding process and equipment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Must train on 1st shift for 4-6 weeks

Required Skills/Abilities

• Thorough understanding of machinery and mold creation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of applicable safety rules.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Superior manual dexterity, muscular control, and delicate touch necessary to complete precision work without damaging valuable molds.
• Visual acuity to read blueprints and perform visual inspections.

Pay Information

• Base $22.50

Shifts

• 1st shift -Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
• January 4th Monday-Thursday 5:00am to 3:30pm
