Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking an experienced 1st shift Die Board Technician/Machine Operator for our Asheboro, NC corrugated facility. You will maintain and repair cutting dies, ensure tooling is production-ready, and partner with operations, quality and suppliers to support reliable manufacturing performance.

The role emphasizes safety, GMP/RQC awareness, and continuous improvement initiatives. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, with orientation on 1st shift and weekend availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or related industrial environment.
• Experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing tooling or production equipment.
• Experience using basic hand tools and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Support safety, environment, and housekeeping priorities.
• Inspect, maintain, repair, and update cutting dies to meet production and quality requirements.
• Verify dies contain proper rubber, knives, and configurations before use.
• Coordinate with quality and suppliers to ensure tooling is ordered and maintained.
