Harry Winston, Inc. in New York, NY is seeking a skilled Diamond Grader to ensure our strict quality standards across melee and certified diamonds.

You will grade, inspect, and plot stones under consideration for purchase and manage inventory items to uphold HW's exceptional reputation. Candidates should have at least four years of diamond grading experience, with a track record in handling high-value jewelry, and proficiency in Excel and Word.

Formación

• Minimum of 4 years or more of diamonds grading and inspection.
• Experience handling high value jewelry and stones.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Grade, evaluate and plot diamonds for purchase or inventory.
• Grade and sort melee diamonds by size, color, and clarity.
• Ensure HW standards for cut parameters and inclusions.
• Inspect jewelry and loose stones for HW quality and integrity.
• Communicate supplier rejection rates and reasons to leadership.
• Maintain Inventory Control throughout grading, stocking processes.
• Review loose diamonds returned from manufacturing for damage.
• Assist Director and Manager on special projects as warranted.
• Fill work orders by selecting stones matching quality standards.
