Husqvarna Construction in Columbia, SC is seeking a Production Support Technician to keep segments flowing and blades moving through finishing steps. You will support grinding, cleaning, brazing preparation, and painting processes while maintaining safety standards on a 2nd shift, Monday through Friday.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, comfort with basic math, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. PPE and safety rules are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 20 lbs.
• Stamina to stand and walk on concrete floors for full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Load and machine segments for precise radius grinding.
• Wash, sandblast, and polish cores for brazing and finishing.
• Assist fixture loading on manual lasers to maintain pace.
• Move materials between workstations to prevent bottlenecks.
• Load, sharpen, mark, and mask blades for finishing.
• Hang and remove blades on the paint line with care.
• Follow OSHA and EPA safety guidelines and company procedures.

It's 2:30 p.m. in Columbia, SC. You arrive on the production floor where diamond blades take shape. As a Production Support Technician, you're the steady hand that keeps segments flowing, cores spotless, and blades moving from one critical process to the next. Your work helps ensure every blade meets the standards professionals rely on.

Shift: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

What your day looks like

• Load and machine segments to prepare them for precise radius grinding.
• Wash, sandblast, and polish cores so they're ready for brazing and finishing.
• Assist with fixture loading on manual lasers to keep production on pace.
• Move materials and blades efficiently between workstations to prevent bottlenecks.
• Load, sharpen, mark, and mask blades to get them ready for final finishing.
• Hang and remove blades on the paint line with care and consistency.
• Follow OSHA and EPA guidelines and all company safety procedures at every step.

Tools, quality, and upkeep

• Select and organize the right tooling for each task.
• Clean and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep uptime high.
• Complete visual inspections and record production/quality data accurately.
• Partner with Quality Control to meet inspection criteria every time.
