Job summary

FutureCare seeks a Biomedical Technician to maintain and repair dialysis machines and water treatment systems across our Baltimore-area Kidney Centers. You will ensure equipment operates to strict specifications and support regulatory compliance.

The role requires a technical associate degree, relevant certifications, and willingness to travel. Strong attention to detail and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AA/AS in electronics or biomedical technology preferred.
• AAMI CBET certification preferred.
• All attained certifications must be maintained and current.
• Valid Driver's License issued in the employee’s state of residence.
• Willing to attend out-of-state certification training if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform and/or oversee repair and maintenance of water treatment and dialysis equipment and related systems.
• Document all repairs and maintenance per policies.
• Work on low and high voltage equipment as needed.
• Purchase and maintain inventory of supplies and parts.
• Support QAPI and quality improvement initiatives.
• Train facility staff to meet regulatory requirements.
• Collect and process water/dialysate samples per policies.
• Review water/dialysate quality results per procedures.
• Travel between facilities as needed, including Baltimore Renalis Kidney Centers.
