Job summary

Mercy Hospital St. Louis Critical Care Medicine Fellowship is seeking an experienced RN to provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care across departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in a demanding ICU setting.

The role requires RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure, and completion of required certifications such as BLS/ACLS/NRP among others, with duties aligning to Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications

• RN license required in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Graduation from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Certifications listed may be required based on unit/position.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required or completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for designated patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and protects patient rights and confidentiality.
