Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States seeks a dialysis support teammate to assist in setting up and operating dialysis machines, monitor patient responses, take vital signs, and maintain a clean, safe treatment area. You will educate patients and support CQI activities under RN supervision, supporting overall patient well‑being.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, CMS licensure where required, CPR certification, and prior patient care experience.

Qualifications

• CMS-approved state/national licensure requirements.
• All relevant state licensure, education, and training required.

• Previous patient care experience in a hospital or related facility preferred.
• Continued employment depends on dialysis training program completion and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and operating dialysis machines.
• Monitor and document vital signs and treatment parameters.
• Ensure a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices.
• Provide patient education related to treatment and care measures.
• Assist in training direct patient care staff under RN supervision.
• Report significant changes in patient condition to the RN or supervisor.
