Job Title: Dialysis Technician
Location: Holy Cross Health

Position Purpose:
Join the dedicated team at Holy Cross Health as a Dialysis Technician, where you'll support high-quality patient care under the supervision of the RN. Reporting to the Director of Dialysis, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe and effective dialysis treatment in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

What You Will Do:

• Perform pre, intra, and post-dialysis assessments and document patient conditions
• Initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatments per established protocols
• Draw lab work, monitor fluid balance, and report findings to the RN
• Prepare dialysis machines and water treatment systems according to guidelines
• Monitor machine readings, make appropriate adjustments, and ensure safety throughout the process
• Collaborate with RNs, including support for Labor & Delivery dialysis patients
• Assist with maintaining cardiovascular stability and thermoregulation during treatment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification as a CNA-DT by the Maryland State Board of Nursing
• Completion of national certification (CCHT or BONENT)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of experience as a dialysis technician preferred
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Ability to lift 35 lbs and perform physical duties such as bending, pushing, and kneeling

Pay rate: $21.74 - $30.44

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
