MultiCare Health System is seeking a Dialysis Technician to support inpatient hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis services at multiple campuses. The role operates under direct supervision of the Dialysis RN, performing technical and patient care support to ensure high-quality treatment and regulatory compliance.

The position requires a dialysis technician training program, CCHT certification, and 2+ years of dialysis experience, with travel between Tacoma General, Good Samaritan, and Auburn

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Dialysis Technician training program required.
• National certification for Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) required.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Valid Driver License/Abstract for ability to travel between campuses.
• At least 2 years prior inpatient or outpatient dialysis experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare dialysis machines, water systems, and treatment supplies according to guidelines and policy.
• Perform pre-treatment machine checks, alarm testing, and safety inspections.
• Assist RNs with patient preparation, vital signs, weight checks, and comfort measures.
• Observe and document machine parameters, pressures, and alarms; elevate abnormalities to the RN.
• Complete post-treatment disinfection and machine turnover per policy.
• Maintain PAR levels and restock carts to ensure disposables availability.
• Document technical tasks and safety checks in the EMR.
• Travel between Tacoma General, Good Samaritan, and Auburn Medical Center as needed.
• Adhere to CMS, AAMI, Joint Commission, and MultiCare standards.
