Job summary

CoxHealth is hiring Dialysis Technicians at the Ozark Dialysis Monett clinic. Under nurse supervision, you will set up patients and equipment, monitor vitals, and complete treatments according to CMS standards. Strong communication and multitasking are essential for this role.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, and preferably CNA or phlebotomy experience. Certification (CHT/CCHT) must be achieved within 18 months of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred: CNA, phlebotomy or other medical experience.
• Must attain CHT or CCHT certification within 18 months of employment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong time management and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Set up patients and equipment and monitor vitals during treatment.
• Complete treatments following CMS regulations and policies.
• Work under the direction of a licensed nurse.

Job Description

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, Dialysis Technicians contribute to the care of patients in accordance with the standards of care, CMS regulations and health system policies by monitoring patients during treatment. Responsible for setting up patients and equipment, monitoring vitals throughout and the completing of treatment.Education: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Preferred: CNA, phlebotomy or other medical experience Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exhibits valuable time management skills Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment Basic computer skills Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: Must attain CHT or CCHT certification within 18 months of employment
