Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Dialysis Technician at CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO. Under nurse supervision, you will set up patients and equipment, monitor vitals, and assist during dialysis treatments. High School Diploma or equivalent is required; CNA or phlebotomy experience is preferred.

You must obtain CHT/CCHT within 18 months of employment. 40-hour workweek with a day shift and on-site duties across the CoxHealth system.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: CNA, phlebotomy or other medical experience preferred.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Exhibits strong time management, critical thinking and multitasking abilities.
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• Licensure/Certification: Must attain CHT or CCHT certification within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a licensed nurse, dialysis technicians monitor patients during treatment and set up patients and equipment.
• Monitor vitals throughout and complete the treatment.
