Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Dialysis Technician for the Ozark Dialysis Clinic in Monett. Under supervision of a licensed nurse, you will prepare patients and equipment, monitor vitals during treatment, and help ensure quality patient care in a CMS-regulated setting.

Required high school diploma or equivalent; CNA/phlebotomy or medical experience is preferred. Candidates must obtain CHT or CCHT within 18 months of employment; strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience: Preferred CNA, phlebotomy or other medical experience.
• Skills: Verbal/written communication, time management, critical thinking, multitasking, basic computer skills.
• Licensure: Must attain CHT or CCHT within 18 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up patients and equipment for dialysis treatment.
• Monitor vitals throughout the treatment course.
• Provide care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Complete treatments and ensure CMS-compliant care.

Job Description

Under the direction of a licensed nurse, Dialysis Technicians contribute to the care of patients in accordance with the standards of care, CMS regulations and health system policies by monitoring patients during treatment. Responsible for setting up patients and equipment, monitoring vitals throughout and the completing of treatment.Education: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Preferred: CNA, phlebotomy or other medical experience Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Exhibits valuable time management skills Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment Basic computer skills Licensure/Certification/Registration: Required: Must attain CHT or CCHT certification within 18 months of employment
