Job summary

Northwest Kidney Centers seeks a Dialysis Technician II to join our Lake City Dialysis Center. This is a .9 FTE evening shift from 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Sunday through Friday, 4x9. Entry path includes 8+ weeks of training with support toward career goals in dialysis care.

Direct-care staff may float to other clinics as needed to maintain safe patient care, with a strong focus on safety and patient-centered service. We offer comprehensive benefits and a mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher required.
• Education in science field preferred.
• Prior direct patient care experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up dialysis machines and connect patients to the machine.
• Monitor treatment and disconnect after completion.
• Clean and reprocess dialyzers and handle dialysis chemicals safely.
• Report issues to nurses/supervisors and coordinate with the care team.
