Job summary

UF Health in Jacksonville seeks a Dialysis Technician to support patient care within our dialysis units. You will work under supervision to initiate and discontinue dialysis, and assist with ancillary duties across campuses.

The role requires two years of dialysis experience, BLS, and certification within 18 months of hire. EMT licensure can substitute for two years of dialysis experience. Downtown and North Campus coverage is required.

Qualifications

Schedule

FTE: .90 (3-12's)

Hours: 7:30am-8:00pm

Days: Variable

Note

This position supports dialysis operations at both the Downtown Campus and the North Campus. Candidates must be able to work at and provide support for both locations as needed to meet operational requirements.

Qualifications

Education

Required:High School Diploma or GED

Licensure/Certifications

Required: BLS Certification (American Heart Association)

• -Dialysis Technician Certification (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) approved state certification program or a national commercially available certification program) required within 18 months of hire or transfer into the position.
• -EMT licensure may be substituted for two years of clinical dialysis experience

Experience

Required: Two (2) years clinical dialysis experience
