Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated in Statesville, NC is seeking a Dialysis Technician to provide patient care and technical dialysis services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Nephrology Attending Physician.

Schedule: 3 days per week, every other Saturday, totaling 30 hours per week. Must have a high school diploma/GED and relevant dialysis certifications, plus BLS and hospital experience.

Description

The Dialysis Technician provides patient care and technical services to adult dialysis patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Nephrology Attending Physician.

Schedule: 3 days per week, every other Saturday (30 hours per week)

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Certified Hemodialysis Practitioner by Bonent or Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician by the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission.
• BLS required.
• Two (2) years of hospital related experience (patient care, equipment, or laboratory) with one (1) year of hemodialysis experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
