Job summary

Liberty Administrative Services, LLC seeks a compassionate dialysis support professional for our Juneau clinic. You will care for adult/geriatric ESRD patients, prepare dialysis machines, and monitor patients before, during, and after treatment in a busy clinic setting.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR within 90 days, and completion of our training program with competency shown within 12 weeks. CMS certification within required timeline is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required pre-employment.
• “3 months of dialysis, phlebotomy, or CNA/PCA experience preferred.”
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to pass Ishihara Color Vision Test for color distinction.
• Complete dialysis training program with demonstrated competency within 12 weeks.
• CMS-approved national certification within CMS timeline.

Responsibilities

• Cares for and monitors patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment.
• Prepares dialysis machine and components for treatment.
• Transports patients and records weight, temp, BP, pulse, and respiration.
• Explains dialysis procedure and operation to allay patient anxieties.
• Inspects access area (fistula, graft, catheter) and equipment settings.
• Starts treatment per physician order and monitors for adverse reactions.
