Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Dialysis certification required.
• PCA, PCT, or Dialysis Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
• Sets up and operates hemodialysis machine to provide dialysis treatment.
• Monitors and documents dialysis treatment parameters (vital signs, weight, pressures).
• Communicates pertinent patient information to the RN during shifts.
• Adheres to organizational policies and safety standards.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
