Job summary

Fox Valley Dialysis, Ltd. in Aurora, IL is seeking a Full-Time Certified Dialysis Technician-Chronic to prepare and monitor dialysis treatments, maintain sterile conditions, and educate patients.

The role offers AM/PM shifts with Saturdays rotation, overtime opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, CCHT certification, CPR, and dialysis experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CCHT certification (Bonent or NNCC) and CPR certification.
• Dialysis experience of 3+ months preferred.
• Proficiency measuring and recording patient vitals.
• Hemodialysis setup/teardown and monitoring.
• EMR documentation experience (Clarity).
• Knowledge of OSHA/infection control/PPE.
• Ability to perform water testing and RO system maintenance.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor patients for dialysis treatments.
• Ensure equipment is functioning optimally and maintain a sterile environment.
• Engage with patients with empathy and provide education during treatment.
• Follow full-time schedule with rotating Saturdays; AM/PM shifts.
• Assist with setup/teardown and monitoring of hemodialysis machines.
• Document patient data accurately in EMR and maintain safety practices.
