ATTRIBUTES

• Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in patient care or as an EMT
• Demonstrated leadership ability

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care. Set up and deliver dialysis treatment; cannulate fistula or graft; obtain blood samples and culture specimens; calculate fluid removal based on nursing assessment; respond to treatment complications under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)Reporting. Monitor patient's vital signs during treatment as well as record observations and interventions in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system; report patient status changes to RN when appropriate; retrieve lab results when necessarySite Management. Inspect and evaluate dialysis access site and report conditions to the RN

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Moderate - Clinical - Moderate clinical roles are patient facing roles that require continual movement, including standing, walking, and lifting 20-50 lbs., along with pushing and pulling medical equipment and assisting with patient positioning. Employees perform frequent bending, twisting, and reaching while completing fine motor tasks in busy or confined clinical environments. High sensory acuity is essential for monitoring patient status and responding to alarms or safety concerns. Emotional and cognitive demands are substantial, involving decision‑making under pressure, responding to emergencies, and maintaining sustained focus. Environmental exposures include infectious agents, bodily fluids, chemicals, and radiation. TB testing, mask‑fit testing, and physical exams are common requirements.

PAY RANGE

$19.00 - $25.00 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
