Job summary

BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Dialysis Technician to join the hemodialysis unit.

You will work under RNs and nephrologists, monitor patients, maintain equipment, and uphold a sterile, safe dialysis environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ years dialysis experience.
• CHT Certification (Certified Hemodialysis Technician).
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and supportive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis.
• Work under supervision of RNs and nephrologists to ensure safe, effective dialysis procedures.
• Monitor patients during treatment, maintain dialysis equipment, and keep the unit clean and sterile.

Responsibilities

• The Dialysis Technician is responsible for providing technical and supportive care to patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.


• They work under the supervision of registered nurses and nephrologists to ensure that dialysis procedures are performed safely and effectively.


• The Dialysis Technician is also tasked with monitoring patients during treatment, maintaining dialysis equipment, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment in the dialysis unit.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

• High School or GED.


• 1 + years\' experience in a dialysis setting.


• Certification as a Dialysis Technician - CHT- Certified Hemodialysis Technician


• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Completion of a dialysis technician training program.
