U.S. Renal Care in California is seeking a Medical Social Worker to educate patients on treatment choices and wellness for kidney disease, aiming to improve quality of life.

You will conduct psychosocial assessments, participate in care planning, support coping with CKD and dialysis, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. An MSW is required; LCSW/ACSW preferred, with CA licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• MSW degree from an accredited CSWE program.
• LCSW/ACSW required; LCSW preferred (CA). Licensure/LMSW in other states acceptable.
• One year of work experience in a behavioral or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on treatment choices and wellness for kidney disease to improve quality of life.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and support emotional well-being.
• Participate in care planning and team reviews of psychosocial needs.
• Assist patients in coping with issues related to CKD and dialysis; coordinate services.
