Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our nonprofit mission-driven team in a patient-centered in-center hemodialysis setting. The role includes a 30-hour schedule on 10-hour or 13-hour shifts with Sundays off and paid 12-week training with a preceptor.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and supplies and ensure quality standards.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures.
• Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis, communicating changes with physician and families.
• Administer and chart all prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews.
• Document required patient education efforts.
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
• Lead a small patient care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed.
• Additional tasks as requested.
