Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a current Registered Nurse license in the applicable state or be in NCLEX testing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with care teams.
• Ability to learn quickly through an extensive in-house education program.

Responsibilities

• Performs hemodialysis treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Prepares dialysis machine, alarms and supplies, ensuring quality standards.
• Monitors patient during dialysis and communicates changes to physician and family.
• Administers and charts prescribed medications before, during and after dialysis.
• Follows infection control and CMS/CDC regulations.
• Participates in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews.
• Maintains inventory and ensures dialysis equipment functions properly.
