Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of practice.
• Nursing experience in dialysis or related field preferred.
• Home dialysis or critical care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs and maintains knowledge and proficiency in dialysis treatments.
• Provides oversight and delegation to department staff.
• Ensures water room equipment operation and function compliance.
• Adheres to departmental policies, safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Documents patient records per policy and procedure.
• Coordinates care with Medical Director, nephrologists, patients and staff.
• Educates patients and families about the dialysis process and self-care.
