Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in dialysis to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process for dialysis patients. You will coordinate care, perform patient assessments, and educate patients, working with physicians and a broader care team to plan and evaluate care.

Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided in compliance with regulations. The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an unencumbered RN license;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA.
• Unencumbered RN license where practice occurs; multistate license acceptable in NLC state.
• Maintains required department licensure, competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized dialysis nursing care.
• Coordinate care, assess patients and provide education.
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional team to plan and evaluate dialysis care.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications and care provided per standards.
• Utilize technology to enhance patient care and delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel.
