Qualifications

• RN license current and in good standing.
• 12 months nursing experience; includes 3 months dialysis experience.
• CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to distinguish primary colors.
• Demonstrated leadership and sound judgment in emergent situations.
• Strong spoken and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations and missed treatments.
• Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours.
• Update logs; ensure dialysis run sheets and logs are sent to billing.
• Complete and document monthly review of patient medication profiles; administer medications as ordered.
• Assist physician during rounds; transcribe and implement physician orders timely.
• Assist with anemia management and medication protocols as requested.
• Provide patient education and follow up as needed; support program goals.
• Adhere to laws and company policies; ensure safe dialysis within state regulations.
• Respond to emergencies in clinic; sign off water quality verification before each shift.
• Supervise preparation of equipment and supplies; clean up after each shift.
• Set up dialysis machines; perform cleaning and quality control per procedures.
• Participate in infection control monitoring and reporting.
