Job summary

Spectrum Dialysis is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Laguna Hills team. Provide specialized dialysis care to patients in skilled nursing facilities, collaborating with facility staff and Spectrum team members to ensure high-quality treatment.

We value compassionate, dependable, professional, and patient-focused nurses who can work independently within a collaborative SNF environment. Join us Monday through Friday in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hemodialysis experience.
• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
• Active California RN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS Provider certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with facility staff.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Must complete required training and demonstrate competency in dialysis procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate dialysis care within skilled nursing facilities.
• Manage AV fistulas, grafts, shunts, and dialysis catheters.
• Perform venipuncture, access care, and dressing changes.
• Administer and document medications; assess PRN needs.
• Complete nursing assessments and document patient status.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and respond appropriately.
• Obtain physician orders and document lab specimens per policy.
• Review lab results and communicate significant findings.
• Implement individualized care plans and educate patients/families.
• Supervise dialysis technicians and ensure task completion.
• Conduct regular patient rounds to promote safety and quality of care.
• Maintain confidentiality and protect patient information.
