Job summary

Spectrum Dialysis is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Laguna Hills, CA. The RN will provide specialized dialysis care within skilled nursing facilities and collaborate with facility staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient monitoring, catheter and fistula care, medication administration, and supervising dialysis technicians. We value compassionate care, strong communication, and teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of hemodialysis experience.
• Active California RN license.
• American Heart Association BLS Provider certification.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with facility staff.
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate dialysis care within skilled nursing facilities.
• Manage AV fistulas, grafts, shunts, and dialysis catheters; perform venipuncture and dressing changes.
• Safely manage dialysis treatments and document medications and nurse assessments.
• Monitor patient status, respond to adverse events, and implement care plans.
• Supervise dialysis technicians and ensure completion of responsibilities.
• Conduct regular patient rounds to promote safety and quality of care.
