Job summary

Spectrum Dialysis is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Sub-Acute dialysis team in Tucson, Arizona. The RN will initiate and monitor dialysis treatments, manage patient care plans, and collaborate with facility staff to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent experience in chronic outpatient or sub-acute dialysis.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active RN license.
• Current BLS certification and ability to work independently in sub-acute settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis assessments and document findings.
• Initiate and monitor dialysis treatments according to physician orders and protocols.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records.
• Monitor vascular access sites and respond promptly to complications.
• Interpret lab results and adjust care plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Educate patients and facility staff on dialysis procedures and infection control.
