Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse Applicant to join the hemodialysis health care team. You will supervise Patient Care Technicians, educate patients on ESRD and dialysis therapy, and ensure care is delivered safely and in accordance with FMC policies.

You will collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain high-quality patient outcomes. The role requires RN licensure and timely registration, and involves active participation in staff training, documentation, and patient

Qualifications

• RN license required and registration within state regulations or 90 days from hire
• Ability to educate patients on ESRD, dialysis therapy, and related health conditions
• Strong collaboration with physicians and healthcare team
• Experience coordinating and supervising patient care staff is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Directs Patient Care Technician’s delivery of dialysis therapy in compliance with policy and regulatory standards
• Delegates tasks to LVN/LPNs, Patient Care Technicians, and Dialysis Assistants
• Assesses daily patient care needs and assigns appropriate care plans
• Monitors staff technique and adherence to procedures
• Participates in staff training and meetings
• Educates patients and families on disease management, dialysis, diet, and medications
• Ensures documentation accuracy in medical records and treatment sheets
• Maintains safety, quality, and sanitation in the dialysis facility
