Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking an RN PRN to join our Dialysis department. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and support dialysis treatments while upholding infection prevention and safety standards.

The role requires 0-2 years in a clinical nursing setting, a current US RN license, and BCLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred. Competitive benefits and opportunities for career advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Current RN license in the United States.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Ability to work PRN in dialysis and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care in accordance with the nursing process and organizational policies.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competency and scope.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure patient safety.
• Document patient care and education promptly in the medical record.
• Participate in audits, chart reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Dialysis RN: set up and operate dialysis machines, monitor patients, educate families.
