Job summary

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in Nacogdoches, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our nonprofit care-focused team at an in-center hemodialysis unit. You will work with a patient-care team to provide safe, high-quality dialysis and education to patients.

The schedule is full-time, four 10-hour shifts starting at 5:15am with Sundays off and no overnight shifts. Compensation ranges from $28 to $35 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dialysis machine, alarms, and treatment supplies per standards.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies.
• Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and communicate changes.
• Administer and chart all prescribed medications.
• Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations.
• Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews.
• Document required patient education efforts.
• Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals.
• Lead a small patient care team.
• Contribute to onboarding new staff members.
• Additional tasks as requested.
