  • Prepare dialysis machine and ensure quality standards.
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per policies.

  • Administer and chart prescribed medications.
  • Follow infection control regulations.
  • Participate in care conferences and chart reviews.
  • Document patient education efforts.
  • Facilitate continuity of care.
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance.
  • Lead a small patient care team.
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff.

Schedule

Full‑time, four 10‑hour shifts; Sundays off; no overnight shifts

This is a float position for the Knoxville region.

Compensation

Pay ranges from $29 – $41 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience. $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Responsibilities
What You Can Expect:
  • Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
  • Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
  • Document required patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
  • Additional tasks as requested

  • Accredited nursing degree required
