Job summary

U.S. Renal Care, Inc. is seeking a Staff Nurse to participate in professional development activities, quality improvement, and the clinical application of research findings.

The role emphasizes ethical practice and adherence to nephrology nursing standards and state scope of practice in a dialysis-focused environment. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team, delivering patient-centered care, and may lead initiatives to improve patient and staff environments.

Qualifications

  • One year of registered nurse experience.
  • California & Tennessee: minimum 3 months of nephrology dialysis experience or 6 months in Texas.
  • Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Competent knowledge of Electronic Health Records
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently

Responsibilities

  • As a Staff Nurse, participate in professional role development activities including continuing education, quality assessment and improvement, and application of research findings.
  • Develop ethically sound practice and address ethical challenges per Nephrology Nursing Standards of Practice and state scopes of practice.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and lead interdisciplinary efforts.

As a Staff Nurse you will actively participate in professional role development activities, including continuing education, quality assessment and improvement, and the review and clinical application of research findings. The Staff Nurse develops ethically sound practice and confronts ethical challenges through the application of the Nephrology Nursing Standards of Practice and the state Scope of Practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: One (1) year of registered nurse experience.

Experience: Minimum 3 months (California & Tennessee) or 6 months (Texas) of experience as a Nephrology Nurse with dialysis experience required; a combination of in-center, and/ or acute, hemodialysis required

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent

License/Certification: Current, active, unencumbered state RN licensure

License/Certification: Current Healthcare Provider certification (CPR) required

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Competent and in-depth knowledge regarding the use of Electronic Health Records

Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to organize, prioritize and complete projects independently
