Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, delivering safe, compassionate dialysis treatment and monitoring patients throughout the session.

The role requires CCHT certification, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to work long shifts. Training is provided with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• CCHT is required for this opening.
• Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to stand and work long shifts.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred certifications (CNA/MA/phlebotomy) or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
