Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. The PCT provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key responsibilities include delivering safe dialysis care, monitoring patients, setting up equipment, recording vital signs, and educating patients on treatment and kidney health, working with a multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and care team.
