Job summary

DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. You will provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Key responsibilities include delivering safe dialysis care, monitoring patients, setting up equipment, recording vitals, and educating patients on treatment and kidney health, working collaboratively with the care team.

Qualifications

• Accredited High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment
• Record vital signs and patient data
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members
