Job summary

FutureCare Renalis is seeking a Patient Transporter to move patients to and from the dialysis center and provide basic health care services under the supervision of the Charge Nurse.

You will join a team recognized for compassionate care, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth. Responsibilities include safe patient transport, inventory tasks, and assisting with dialysis-related procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of healthcare experience.
• GNA certification required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Comfortable working with geriatric population.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to work as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely and professionally.
• Assist patients during transfers as needed.
• Communicate with Charge Nurse about progress and additional duties.
• Disinfect dialysis recliners between patients and return to Dialysis Suite.
• Provide comfort and support to patients and families.
• Stock supplies daily and assist with inventory.
• Assist with lab labeling.
• Complete MOLST communication book forms promptly.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards.

At FutureCare Renalis, our Patient Transporters ensure our patients are transported to/from the dialysis center and perform basic health care services. Our Dialisys will work under the direct supervision of the Charge Nurse.

The salary mentioned above reflects the potential base pay range for this role. Bonuses or other incentives (if applicable) are offered separately and paid pursuant to the relevant program schedule. Responsibilities

• Transport patients and clients in a safe and professional manner


• Assist patients and clients as needed to ensure safe transfer


• Effectively communicate with Charge Nurse regarding scheduled progress and the ablity to receive and perform additional duties/instructions


• Ensure Dialysis recliners are properly disinfected between clients and returned to Dialysis Suite at end of shift


• Comforts patients and their family members by offering support and encouragement


• Stock supplies daily and help with inventory


• Assist with lab labeling


• Complete \"MOLST \" commnication book forms in a timely manner


• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following all standards and procedures

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivialent


• Must have at least 1 year experience woring in a healthcare setting


• GNA certificaiton needed


• Must have a current CPR/BLS certification


• Must be comfortable working with the geriatric population


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team centered environment


• Ability to lift 50lbs or more


• Must be able to work as scheduled
