Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the Tualatin, OR area to provide frontline care to dialysis patients. You will support home dialysis training, assist with clinic visits, and coordinate with the HT RN and care team.

Responsibilities include vitals collection, charting, prepping rooms and supplies, and assisting in both HHD and PD training under supervision. Requires PCT certification and CPR, with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid PCT national certification or state-specific certification as defined by CMS.
• CPR certification is required.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of patient care experience in a hospital or related facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reinforces home hemodialysis (HHD) and/or peritoneal dialysis (PD) training.
• Identifies and greets patients, records vital signs and weighs patients.
• Maintains communication with patients, HT RN and care team.
• Prepares supplies and exam rooms for training or treatment visits.
• Stockers, orders supplies, and maintains documentation and patient charts.
• Assists with home dialysis setup, visits, and lab specimen handling as directed.
