Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Kailua, Hawaii, seeks a dedicated dialysis care teammate to assist in the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines under direct nurse supervision. You will contribute to patient safety and comfort, document vitals, and support vascular access evaluation throughout treatments.

The role requires a state or national certification or a high school diploma/G.E.D., licensure as applicable, and a willingness to complete the Fresenius dialysis training program.

Qualifications

• CMS-approved state and/or national certification or high school diploma or G.E.D.
• All appropriate state licensure, education and training required.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and monitor patient status.
• Take pre- and post-treatment vital signs and document accurately.
• Evaluate vascular access and report findings to nurse supervisor.
• Maintain safe and clean treatment environment and comply with facility policies.

Education
