Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dedicated dialysis patient care teammate in Nashville, TN to support safe, effective dialysis under RN supervision. You will help set up machines, monitor patients, obtain vitals, and document treatment data to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes infection control, vascular access assessment, and education as part of CQI and transition care. A high school diploma or GED, CPR, and CMS/state certifications are required or in progress.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within state or CMS timeline.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Welcome patients and monitor wellbeing and pre/post-treatment vitals.
• Evaluate vascular access, cannulate, and administer heparin as delegated.
• Document treatment data and ensure accurate Hemodialysis Treatment Sheets.
• Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist in transitional care unit activities and patient education.
