Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; CMS/state licensure/training as applicable.
• Previous patient care experience in hospital or related facility preferred; CPR certification required or obtained.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and initiate treatment per orders.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to intradialytic issues as directed by physician or RN.
• Provide patient education on treatment adequacy and related processes where appropriate.
• Document treatment data accurately on Hemodialysis Treatment Sheet and related records.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection control policies.
