Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a dialysis patient care technician to join our team in Gallatin, TN. You will support licensed nurses, set up and operate hemodialysis machines, and help maintain a safe, clean treatment area.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, recording vitals, assisting with cannulation and UF goals as prescribed, and participating in CQI activities to improve patient outcomes. High school diploma required; prior patient care preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• CMS/state licensure/certification requirements within the required state or CMS timeline.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor dialysis machines according to prescribed orders.
• Record vital signs and treatment data accurately.
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment and assist with infection control measures.
• Assist in patient education and transitional care as directed by RN or supervisor.
