Fresenius Medical Care in New Bern, NC seeks a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support dialysis treatments under RN supervision. You will assist with setup, monitoring, and documentation of dialysis sessions in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CMS/state certifications, and prior patient care experience. Training is provided to ensure adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards in every treatment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must meet CMS-approved state and/or national certification requirements.
• All appropriate state licensure, education, and training required.
• Experience in hospital or dialysis setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor therapy.
• Record pre/post-treatment vital signs and document treatment data.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and infection control in the unit.
• Assist RN with patient education and care during dialysis.
