Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a patient-focused healthcare team member to support dialysis therapy under RN supervision. Responsibilities include initiating dialysis, monitoring patient status, and ensuring accurate documentation of vitals and treatment parameters.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and CPR certification, with CMS/state certification prerequisites. Training will cover safety, infection control, and quality improvement processes within the clinic.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Welcome assigned patients and check their wellbeing since their last treatment.
• Evaluate vascular access and cannulation; administer heparin as delegated.
• Record vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters before, during, and after dialysis.
• Initiate dialysis per orders; monitor and respond to intradialytic issues.
• Document treatment data accurately and ensure nursing staff signatures.
• Maintain infection control practices and prepare lab specimens as required.
