Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within the required state or CMS timeline.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operation of hemodialysis machines.
• Monitor patients during dialysis and record vital signs.
• Assess vascular access and cannulation.
• Document treatment data and communicate changes to the RN.
• Maintain infection control and environmental standards.
• Participate in CQI activities.
• Assist with transitional care unit activities and home dialysis education.
