Fresenius Medical Care in the United States provides dialysis therapy under the supervision of a licensed nurse. The technician is responsible for setting up and operating hemodialysis machines, maintaining a safe, organized environment, and accurately recording treatment parameters.

The role includes patient education, vital signs monitoring, cannulation assistance, and CQI participation. A high school diploma or GED is required with CPR certification; training is provided.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Set up and operate dialysis machines and monitors safety alarms.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, and treatment parameters.
• Cannulate vascular access and administer heparin as delegated.
• Document treatment data accurately and report changes to RN.
