Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking a dialysis technician to join our care team under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist with the setup and operation of hemodialysis machines and help maintain a safe, clean treatment area.

Daily duties include monitoring patients, recording vital signs and treatment data, performing pre- and post-treatment assessments, and supporting quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; state/CMS licensure as applicable.
• Previous patient care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required; dialysis training program completion may be required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor patients during treatment.
• Record vital signs and treatment data; monitor and document patient condition.
• Maintain infection control and a safe, clean treatment area; assist with CQI activities.
