Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a healthcare team member to assist with dialysis treatments under nurse supervision. You will set up and operate dialysis machines, monitor patients, and help maintain a safe, clean treatment environment.

Responsibilities include patient education, recording vital signs and treatment data, and coordinating with nursing staff. Prior dialysis exposure and active licensure or certification are preferred, with emphasis on safety and quality care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CMS/state certification requirements must be met as applicable.
• CPR certification must be successfully completed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines per orders.
• Welcome and assess patient well-being at each treatment.
• Monitor vascular access patency and perform cannulation as delegated.
• Record vital signs, weight, and dialysis parameters.
• Ensure safety alarms and proper machine function during treatment.
• Document treatment data accurately and communicate changes to the RN/supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe treatment areas and prep supplies.
• Participate in CQI activities and infection control practices.
