Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• CMS-approved state and/or national certification within the required state/colicy timelines.
• State licensure, education, and training as applicable.
• Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines and monitor equipment.
• Obtain and record pre/post treatment vital signs and weight.
• Evaluate patient response to dialysis and document treatment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized dialysis unit environment.
• Report changes to RN or supervisor and assist with interventions as directed.
• Assist in patient education regarding treatment adequacy measures and processes.
